How To Deal With The Loss Of Your Cat

Dealing with the loss of your cat is a difficult and painful process. Even though it is painful it is one that most of us who have cats will have to go through at some point or another. The reason that it is so difficult to loose a cat is because over time we begin to look at our pets as one of the family, just as you would mourn the loss of a family member passing, you also mourn the loss of your cat. In this article we will take a look at some things to make the process a little easier.

If the cat was a family cat and there are children involved dealing with the loss of your cat will be more difficult, since now you will have the young emotions to deal with also. If it is a family pet the best thing that you can do is face it as a family. Often a normal adult reaction is to face things by our selves and internalize the pain but as we all know children are not like that, it is natural for them to cry for the loss of a cat. Some times if we took a lesson from the kids we would be better off and healthier.

Perhaps you are single and your cat was your only pet. Just because you are single doesnt make dealing with the loss of your cat any different. It will be important for you to surround your self with friends who will understand how much you loved your cat.

Another good tool that you can use when dealing with the loss of your cat is to have a small memorial service for it. It is extremely helpful for kids to do this also. How you do it is up to you. You can have a burial and flowers if you like. Some people will laugh at that but remember when I said that a cat can be like a member of your family? Well if its good for a human why not a cat.

Some times when some one or something dies it will make us feel better to do something good in remembrance of them. When dealing with the loss of your cat sometimes it can help to eventually give another cat a home. Eventually giving another cat a home will help keep your pets memory alive in a good way.

Training A Yorkie

Yorkies will understand games, a prime way to teach a dog. Games that use positive reinforcement as a learning tool should allow the yorkie to learn in under an hour what he is supposed to do.

Do not use several different dishes to feed your dog. The dog may not recognize what belongs to him, and may not know what he can take.

If an owner desires to teach their yorkie or other dog when to stop barking, follow this method. As your dog barks, go to the door and open it.

If you would like to teach your yorkie to bark less while you are away, ask yourself if you can endure the following exercise. Train your yorkie while you are in the house to be put in another room with its blanket or basket, and to stay there quietly.

With the right training your yorkie dog will wait for your permission before taking food. Always remember to keep to very regular meal times for your puppy.

When your yorkie barks say with ‘good boy!’ then follow it by ‘that will do’ and the command to go and lie down. Few dogs bark much when lying down.

When training their dog to stop barking in the owner’s absence, the owner must leave and return saying sternly to sit or lie down (or another command that requires obedience). When the dog has obeyed the command, change your tone of voice to a soft soothing tone.Trust me, the dog will think the exercise was worth pleasing you.

A dog that is trained is a well behaved, happy yorkie. Yorkies should be treated with great care, and they are not dolls or playtoys.

Training Your K-9

Sometimes there is so much going on around our dogs. Under these circumstances the dog may not know what, specifically, to be frightened of.

It is extremely hard for the owners not to give in immediately. Even just to stop the noise of the dog?s barking.

The other day my friend?s two show yorkies would not hold their tails up in the show ring. They were losing their prize cards. This means that they were also losing any opportunity of winning.

Training Yorkshire terriers should not be difficult. Not only are they smart, but yorkies’ size makes training easier as well.

Yorkshire terriers will allow you to train them to a variety of different behaviors. Their favorite will most likely be games, like teaching the Yorkie to sit or heel, before giving the Yorkie a treat.

The Yorkshire Terrier breed is small, a toy breed. Because of the yorkshire terrier’s small size you will not have a problem of them moving around. They are not likely to break things inside the house.

There are also dogs that chase cars and bite postmen. Some dogs even bite their owners! Hopefully this is very rare. One would think that such dog?s owners were mistreating the dog, but one never knows.

Some dogs are only seen at mealtime, or when they want to be let into the house to sleep. You would imagine that training your dog, with all the noise and bustle that training creates, would be the very last way to cure a nervous dog. Dogs really do want to please their masters.

Caring for a Bull mastiff dog is not very complicated as long as you educate yourself on the breed itself and their specific needs. The breed is a cross between a Bull Dog and a Mastiff. Bull mastiffs are beautiful animals and grow to be quite large. The average grown Bull mastiff stands between 25 and 27 inches tall and weighs in at 110 to 130 pounds. When caring for them you should consider such things as love and attention, vaccinations, environment, training, grooming, and of course proper nutrition.

The Most important thing you can do for your new pet is to get it vaccinated. Keep shot records and make certain to keep all vaccinations up to date. Receiving vaccinations and attending regular checkups from the vet will help keep your Bull mastiff healthy.

Now you are probably wandering what to feed your new Bull mastiff puppy. The American Bull mastiff Association recommends feeding a puppy a quality food that is composed of meat as the first ingredient on the label and is 19 to 25 percent protein and 8 to 14 percent fat. They are more disposed to bloating than other breeds so feed them three small meals a day, rather than one large meal. As your puppy grows consult your veterinarian as to what type of food he or she feels best suites its individual needs.

Training is very important with any dog especially large breeds. Begin early teaching your Bull mastiff how to behave around purple. Teach him or her not to jump on anyone. This breed can have an aggressive nature if not socialized at an early age. Take them around people and get them use to noise such as children running and playing. Basically show them different environments and allow them to understand that these surroundings are normal and nothing to be fearful of.

Bullmastiffs require less grooming than long haired breeds. Bathe them only when they need it to avoid drying their skin. Brush their coat with a firm bristled brush ever so often to remove lose hair.

Exercise is imperative as Bull mastiffs can tend to be lazy. They may not be very active on their own, thus leading to weight gain. Take them for a walk at least once a day. They do love to the attention that play brings. Get a ball or a Frisbee and spends some time playing. you will both enjoy the quality time and benefit from the exercise.

These dogs are very loyal to their owners. They are wonderful with children and protective of their families. If you care for them properly and show them a lot of love and attention you will have a friend for years to come.
