It’s also a good idea to purchase a bell and a whistle. The bell is placed around the dog’s neck. Make sure it’s not too tight, but you don’t want it really loose either. The bell will help you tell where the dog is around the house. The whistle is for your dog as well, but for you to use of course! You can teach him to respond to certain whistle codes.
