A 2 month old corgi puppy needs to be fed 3 times a day. But no, you never leave food and water in the crate – that would be defeating the purpose of crate training.
This is something you needed to think about before getting a puppy this young – they can’t hold their bladders for long, have no control, and need to be let out very frequently. Your dog sitter’s going to be spending a lot of time at your place or your puppy will never be crate trained or housetrained.

How often does the dog sitter come over during this time? I would say at least 3 times a day. No, don’t leave water or food in the crate. Especially when you have a sitter coming. He can get water then.
At this age, he should be fed 3 times a day. Morn, afternoon, evening.
You can feed in the morn, have the dog sitter do a afternoon feeding and you do the evening.
Work it out. Good luck.

I never left water or food in the crate.
Your dog sitter can give him some water before she takes him outside.
a 2 mo old pup — we did 3 times a day…some people do 4 times.
We switched to 2 times a day at about 5-6 months

No because that will cause him to need to eliminate. A two month old puppy can be fed twice a day, twelve hours apart. Four hours may be too long for this little guy to be crated. If you are finding frequent messes after four hours invest in an ex pen instead which will give him more room to eliminate if he needs to without allowing him to thin kit’s OK to do it in his crate.

Hello. I always think that how long can humans go with water & food. Bit Differant with puppies, water should always be available. Food is a little differant. I will leave a feed to my blog below, there lots of other contacts there too. Sorry blog not quite finished, work in progress, but some good info for you about puppies. http://newpuppy5handyhints.blogspot.com/
